Establishing a DC Office of the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing

DCAD moving forward with a bill which establishes “The Office of the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard-of-hearing” (ODDHH). DCAD reached out to PCRID president on Thursday 7/16/2019. In a call with PCRID president, Traci Ison, and DCAD president, Graham Forsey, Graham shared that DCAD is proactively reaching out in communication with local Deaf and ally organizations to form a coalition in support of the bill.
